Test Drive?

New member here. I'm currently deciding between the Honda S2000 and the Z4 3.0 roadster for my next car (second car for weekends and touring holidays). I have test driven a recent S2000 at a dealer and was very impressed. I wold also like to test drive a Z4. I think my budget would stretch to something like a 3 year old 3.0 roadster - I like the look of a Phoenix Yellow one located in south yorkshire which is advertised here and on Pistonheads. Cars available at dealers seem to be priced too highly for my budget (unlike the S2000), and I don't want to waste anyone's time either privately or at a dealer if the Z4 proves not to be for me. So after rambling on a bit, what's the best way to go about getting a test drive of a recent 3.0 roadster to find out if I like it and compare it to the S2000?

Just get yourself down to a delaer for a drive, better to waste their time than a private seller IMO
 
go to the dealer- u will love the z and thn buy toms (the one you like)

Tbh the s2k has always been my fave car...
My email for the past 8 years has been based around it :P
But im just not so sure if i'd like to actually own one myself... im almost concerned that it wouldnt live up to my expectations as a kid..
Yeah the sound is absolutely amazing....and its the "not so obvious choice"
But it seems so..plasticky...i sat in one the other day and it just feels a bit dated imo
I kno my opinion is totally irrelevant but i just felt like having a ramble on anyways :D
