Tesco Momentum Nozzle

As a regular user of BP Ultimate and after reading several reviews I thought I would give Tesco Rocket fuel a try. After pulling in to the pay at the pump station, inserting my card and pin, I tried inserting the fuel nozzle and it wouldn't fit? After briefly doubting my competence, I picked up the regular unleaded which fitted perfectly.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Nope, never. I have used both Lakeside & Anysford Park, the only complaint being the ever increasing money filling the Treasury's coffers.

... which rocket fuel station did you go to? I also got a 10p off per litre coupon last week, so waiting for an excuse for weather to clear in next few days then take advantage.

Sounds like either someone had messed with the pumps, or you selected diesel in error :?

I have had this problem several times in the tesco watford, always the same pump! The nossle is too big for the hole...maybe it had been knocked out of shape....I moved to a different pump and it fit.

Haha. No it was deffinetely petrol as that was the first thing I checked when the nozzle didn't fit.
It was Stockport Tesco at Portwood Roundabout just off the M60.

I had this problem at a BP station in Calais. I had no choice but to dribble fuel into the car anyway as the fuel light was on and had been for 30 miles!

...it turned out to be a distorted nozzle.

I can recommend a good urologist...apparently getting it straight is fairly easy, but you will lose an inch or more of length :poke: :poke: :poke:

Although any urologist worth his salt will want to see you with several photos of your bent nozzle....

Always knew there was something about them... :?

I hope not! If we are, what on earth are you suggesting about Lacroupade's wife!!?? :D

Tesco pitsea used to give me this same problem, the end of the pump nozzle looked a bit deformed, very annoying to make the trip to basildon to get some 99 octane fuel :(
