Tempting offer - what do you think?

Had my test drive this afternoon and decided to go ahead and buy the 35i as I enjoyed the feel of the car and can't be ar$ed with selling the MC privately.

Thanks for all the contributions and advice folks. :)

I'm going in to collect the car on Tuesday after I've taken of the APEX wheels and refitted the original 224's / tyres and the complete StrongStrut set and refitted the original firewall struts.

I have enjoyed the MC, but potholes, sleeping policemen and ramps have all been a real pain so I shall enjoy the more relaxed ride as well as all the toys that come with the car :) .

List of all the order options attached (About £5400 retail over the bog standard spec), making the retail (as supplied) £49,980.80

Nice one D , i know many will blow the 3,5Is trumpet but reality of the 3.5i twin turbo torque will make the ///M seem quite sluggish by comparison & is by no means a feeble machine :driving: factor in the massive step in refinement & if you can afford it then i totally see your point
Does the access to the open top mean the other Z in your stable will also be sent up the road

Congratulations. I think that will be the first Estoril Blue E89 on here. I'm sure it'll bring you a good few years of enjoyment.

Wise woman! It is a cracking looking car.

Good luck, i enjoyed one i had on test drive a while back. Just couldn't justify new to myself! Will be great having a removable roof! Anyways, how much will you be selling the wheels from the mc for??

You've made the right move and got a decent deal IMO. Think you'll appreciate the refinement and adaptability of the E89 when compared to the MC and its a fabulous looking car in that colour! I'll be interested in your views re comparisons between the two once you've had the E89 a few weeks. I'm pretty sure you'll think its a positive move. Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm happy with the deal and am looking forward to next Tuesday. :D

I think that the colour is amazing and a bit of a change for me as currently all my cars are silver / grey.

I took this pic of the car sitting in the showroom:

Not really decided about what to do with the 3.0i to be honest, but how much would it fetch if I decided to sell it with 40K on the clock, uprated front brakes with 330 calipers, new Brembo slotted discs, yellow-stuff pads, Drexler LSD, MFSW, Parrot MKi9200, full StrongStrut strut system all having been added after buying it for £6000 (not to mention the brand new 313M wheels and new Eagle F1 AS2 tyres!)
With all that invested, I'll probably hang on to it even if I only use it very little!
