Temporary (European) Breakdown Cover

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy temporary breakdown cover (covering Europe)? I'm probably heading off to Germany on the weekend and want to have some breakdown cover just in case however I may (shortly after I return) purchase an extended BMW Warranty and take out their Breakdown Cover with it so don't want to have duplicate cover.
 
RAC do a short term policy - think it's for 7 days. Check the website and you can buy online if its what you need.
 
I use green flag when ever I go on a Euro road trip.

They offer short term cover from 1-30 days I think, and the price is ok for what cover you get. Think I paid about £58 for nearly 3 weeks last year.
