Tell us something unusual about yourself

1. I have toes that look like aliens (My favourite chat up line).

2. I once had a 30 minute drunken conversation with Herman from Dragonforce on how good at programming we were, and the merit of using Xeon processors.

3. I am now on a billboard. Which is nice.

Men's feet are gross, full stop.
Which one on the billboard are you, the one on the right is rather nice ;)

LMAO. I'm the one on the left. Gutted. You appear to be in love with a stock photo.

I traveled 200 miles to buy a car that wasn't for sale!

When I bought my Zed I had been looking locally for a while with no luck so expanded my Autotrader net to 200 miles. A car that ticked all the boxes (and then some!) turned up. 197 miles from DH1 the computer said. What the hell I thought, go for it! A phone call to the vendor then deflated me - a young boy had just been and left a deposit. Nutsacks! The vendor explained that I could have first refusal if the sale fell through as he wasn't sure the kid would come up with the dosh quick enough as he had left a cheque as the deposit which he thought was odd. I was bored with the conversation by now and had resigned myself to the fact that the car was gone so said goodbye to him.

Next morning he rings me back and says the buyer has been refused a loan so the car is still available. Sounds a little fishy but I get interested again. Quite a lengthy discussion later and I want this car as it is low mileage, only 2 owners, service history always garaged etc. So I say OK address please and I'll check out the trains (thinking he is in Derbyshire/Gloucestershire area perhaps). Belfast! Yes Autotrader tells you how far away but doesn't tell you if there is a fekkin sea in the way!

Anyway long story short - I flew to Belfast with six and a half grand in cash in me pocket and drove the car home via ferry! A grand day out apart from nearly missing the flight due to setting off the metal detector with my belt buckle and attracting attention which led to them asking me to remove my shoes and my belt. Luckily they didn't look in my coat pocket and find the six and a half thousand quid and I just made it to the gate with seconds to spare in my stocking feet and my trousers falling down!
