Television at last

About 4 years ago I received a TV retrofit cable for Fathers Day. I then bought an oem analogue TV module with the intention of upgrading it to digital with a PTV upgrade board but at £150 I never really got round to it. I recently saw a chap selling a faulty oem hybrid TV module from Lithuania for £70 inc postage, working, these normally go for around £250. From the description it didn't sound like it was actually faulty to me and so I risked it. And it works!. A childhood dream comes true. :) #Thunderbirds #Lady Penelope #Parker

I have always been interested in getting the TV to work in mine more as a gimmick but never been able to find a guide. I think my car has the old analog module but how would someone go about upgrading this?

You need to replace the tuner which is located in the boot. Need either a hybrid or digital tuner.

Take a look on eBay, plenty on there for E85/6.

The original article I read was this http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=979855 and then this: http://pibus.info/tv/ but always now seems out of stock. Same thing now sold here ;

if you have TV now working, why not start the next project and add amazon firestick / kodi so you can get extra channels like i have.

I understand it's just a straight swap after that? Do you know the part number so I can check if they are in any other BMWs scrapyard might be my first check
