When I get into the car, on some occasions the phone screen shows that I am dialling my own mobile number?

It's a process that seems difficult to interupt.

Have you tried answering the call?

The button doesn't seen to respond. It would normally cancel a 'call but - nothing !
If Mrs K tries to phone that seems to stop the process.

Unfortunately this is not a regular event so it's not something I can readily demonstrate for a warranty claim.

Is it an iPhone? If I activate Siri I think it shows on the idrive screen as me calling myself. Siri works through the car Bluetooth which is handy if you want to dictate a text etc.

Yes it's an iPhone 6+ and your suggestion is welcome - at least I will have something to look out for next time it does it's tricks
