Has anyone here actually sent their headlights to these guys? Just interested to get an idea of how long the turnaround was and costs.

Not sure about Zenons. I haven't done it, but in other forums people said around a week including delivery times. Here's an email I got from them (Eric is the owner and person who does it). I think i remember them saying they would give us a discount with a group by.

Pedram,

Thank you for interested in our product.

1. Angel eyes + labor $329

2. Amber delete $30 (optional)

3. Painted Housing (matte black) $50 (optional)

4. Painted Housing in other color $75 (optional)

5. Shipping and handling cost $ depending on location.

We are located in Southern California.

Basically what you have to do is to send us your headlights and we’ll install the Angel eye rings for you and ship it back to you.

The whole project takes about 2 to 3 days to complete, we guarantee the headlights with no water leakage and fog up with washing your car with one year limited warranty on parts and labor.

Any defective parts will be replaced with no additional charges.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Eric

Cheers Peddy

So by my calculations thats 219 pounds plus postage for angel eyes and clear indicators. Not bad! Think i may go ahead with that.

What difference would having xenons make??

Edit: postage is pretty expensive actually, about 130 to get them and then not sure how much postage back :(

Dreamer - I don't see that xenon woudl make any difference as the parts he works on and changes are identical.

You could ship them to the US and back for a lot less than £130, but it's the turnaround time that you'd be without lights for.

I am intrigued how the guy 'opens' the lights as to the best of my knowledge (having converted 3 sets myself) the adhesive cannot be melted or dissolved. Also curious where he can get clear inners from unless he uses accident damaged or scrap lights or cast his own in some way, but at $30 that's cheap. Interesting stuff.

Who quoted you £130??? They deserve a slap! Check with FedEx, etc.

he's email is [email protected] if you want to ask.

Just seen this, looks very interesting. My only worry would be what to do you do if the 'halo' were to fail outside of the warranty period, would it be a major PITA?
