TC Light Flashing

Hello,

Anyone ever had this before, top end of 3rd, dry road, straight line, no bumps or anything (I.E. definitely no slip at all) and the TC light flashes between 7-8k rpm?

Doesn't seem to slow the car down I just wondered if it was secret code for something?

Car has Eventuri intake, no other tweaks.

Shouldn't be doing that. Weird. Can't think of anything helpful to suggest I'm afraid though.
 
I kind of thought that, but by the sounds of it it doesn't do that in 2nd, which if if it were bush etc I would have thought TC would have a bit of a fit also.

OP I would obviously suggest getting a fault code reader on the car. You may find an underlying issue in the dsc module which is not raising a dash warning.
 
It is weird, doesn't do it in first or second only third?

Geo has been done, pressures are spot on, car is low mileage and no knocking from the rear so I think the bushes are all good?

It had its inspection 2 at BMW about 500 miles ago and definitely didn't do it before then? I wonder if it is a module on the blink (literally)?
 
Exactly, the TC still works in the wet or over bumps etc where you can feel it, it's just doing this weird thing :tumbleweed:
