i've wanted to get a tattoo since i was 16. probably will eventually but just never got around to it yet

The tide seems to be turning towards tattoos. Customer facing roles are the last bastion. Pretty much everywhere else you go tattoos are lurking. Not my thing but I don't think those that have them are evil.

Quite a few guys I work with (an myself) have tats and all in customer facing roles but we all have the covered when going to meet clients ... just in case !

Wouldn't ever get one.

I remember quite a few years back asking my dad if he would ever get one. His response *complete puzzlement* "Get a tattoo? i've got plenty of better things to do than have a hot needle dragged around my skin, theres the gutters to clear out and your mum wants me to revarnish the front door"
Kind of summed it up for me.

Nah never caused me any bother, I work in a bank doing collections so I'm always out at customers house, when I'm doing the photography it doesn't effect me at all

And I know about my ears, vibrating from the tattoo gun next to my near does that

I don't have a problem with Tattoos per se, but depending on job function I would have to draw the line at visible on neck, face, backs of hands. We have customer facing people with full sleeves, no problem, wear a shirt

At least that one is arty, I've had a potential employee turn up with "cut here" around his neck. "Next"...
