Tattoo needles or spark plugs

Not really a problem but I thought you'd all like to see this

I had an hour or so free earlier so........



Changed the plugs, air filter and cam cover /rocker cover gasket today

The plugs, well I've never seen anything like it.

Had a laugh to myself when I refitted the cam/rocker cover but realised one of the sparkplug shrouds was upside down, of course this was after it was all back together and on no4 plug..... Laugh I nearly got the drinks in.

Oil, filters (didn't have a spanner big enuf for the filter housing ) the weekend or else I'd do that today.

Still with the new plugs it's singing even sweeter

They are platinum or more like iridium tipped

They are supposed to look like that

They look like mismatched plugs , two NGK's & two Bosch ones, who would replace a pair of plugs, it's not like they are particularly expensive.

it's not like they are particularly expensive

They certainly aren't, the BMW NGKs can be had for a fiver each. I just swapped mine out in this nasty wind. The bonnet kept trying to shut on my head!
I think 100k is far too long even for these fancy plugs, idle was very lumpy before plug replacement.
