Was at Tatton Park on Sunday to see the Classic car show you can imagine my dissapointment, not one BMW on show and certainly no Zeds.
N.W Ferrari club, Mercedes,Plenty of Fords, Vauxhall, really dissapointing not to see a zed. So to all N.W zed owners why dont we get our cars in for next year, we need to be represented and its easy and cheap to exhibit. Good advertising for the forum. Will put some pictures on when i get chance, some great cars and blasts from the past. Dolomite Sprint, quick in its day bit a rot box. Cortina Mk 11, my first car which brings me round to a question. What was your first car and what memories do you have of it??? :)

I don't mind exhibiting, but at a classic show you really need things like Z1's or Z3's and 2002's that sort of thing IMHO...

As it clashed with Gaydon I think bmwccgb northwest would have been down at that. Good show normally and I think it usually covers Classic and sports car so an E89 should be ok.

As you say food for a bit of nostalgia- A couple of years ago my cousin and I has our photo taken on the ford Anglian van owners club stand ( which is quite a specific OC)chosen transport of our long departed grandfather with each of us on a cushion on the wheel arch - those were the days.

yes sports cars also there was MX5, Ferrari etc apologies it was classed as sports and classics so I think Zed would fit in nicely

My first car was a 1990 BMW 320i. Cost me a fortune (was only 17 at the time) but loved it.

I'm in the North West and looking for a Zed right now, so i'd be up for getting my car in next year most likely!

I went to the earlier show June/ July and lots of BMW cars showing a really nice z3 m coupe and a few early m3s strange none at the last show
