Target Price on New BMW Z4

When I picked up my Z4 about 2 weeks ago, the dealer had few 2.0 Sport (08/58) with price tag of £25k. Will someone pay that price for used Z4 now, when the new one will arrive in less than 2 months. Does that mean E89 will be in high demand, and no discount will be given by dealers or even the cars will be sold at premium under current economic climate?

Did anyone actually pay deposit or order the new Z4? I will like to buy used one in 1 to 1.5 years time. But people said used cars (1 to 2-year-old) will be in high demand because new cars sales is low at the moment.

Overpriced by about £9k at least

No chance of anything being sold at a premium, not in May 2009 anyway.

There are a couple of guys on here and on Zpost that have orders in for May but not many. I wouldn't worry though, there will be plenty of launch cars around, and BMW UK will continue to self-register cars, maybe more so now than ever, so there will be plenty around. Reduced supply from a few years ago yes, but reduced demand to go along with it.

I'll be looking for a new (used) car about that time too, maybe we'll be fighting over the only one :chairfight:
