Tapping ACC or IGN wire in engine bay

Hi,
I would like to install a WiFi camera on the front license plate and looking for a wire I can easily access in the engine bay I can tap 12v from without compromising safety and operational critical circuits. Please advise.

Might be better to run a power wire from the fuse box behind the glovebox into the engine bay via the rubber cable gromit in the firewall to where the camera will be mounted and using a nearby bolt on the body to pick up the earth connection. You will find a ignition controlled fuse bottom left on the fuse boad number 2 or 3 but test with a test lamp to select the correct one. I used this method to power my drl's I fitted in the lower grill.

+1 on colb. That's how I have my halos powered. Then get a fuse tap and you're good.
