Just been looking about the interweb and there is lots of forums who have also disabled tapatalk due to security issues..... :o

It's a shame as it WAS a great app until the new update..... I'm deleting the app from my iOS devices now!

Looking forward to the mobile friendly Z4F, Keep up the good work :thumbsup:
 
I'm surprised that the update got through Apple's validation with such a serious security issue - they're normally tight as a duck's ass when it comes to stuff like that. Not sure how toughly checked Android are though.
 
hi, any news on this topic? it's a shame the z4f will not have tapatalk anymore, but im eagerly waiting for the mobile version, as I browse this forum almost only from a mobile phone

It's disabled for good, I'm afraid. The mobile version is coming along nicely but we are waiting for a couple of changes that need to be added by the developers before we dothe upgrade. They are due to add those next week so hopefully it'll be in place in the next couple of weeks.

That's a shame..I found tapa talk really convinient - I actually joined the forum as it worked with it.

Will the mobile version have the option to show you only your subscribed threads?

It's a responsive theme for the full site, so it should have all options you get when you view the full version, just displayed in a more mobile friendly way.
 
Good stuff! Mobile browsing is becoming just as common as any other now. Looking forward to using it! I used to be in Web design so know how annoying it can be at times. Good luck :thumbsup:

to be honest most companies are going away from "apps" now and more web responsive... so i for one am looking forward to the new mobile friendly site :thumbsup:
