Not always. Used to be with BT and still have a BT Internet email account, although I switched from them years ago.

Yeah, in a virgin area! I live in north Devon, and as such companies think the world ends at Bristol, we will never get cable. Only just got fttc cos its government funded...gone from 2mb to 37mb.

Unfortunately though, the answer to email seems to be not use ISP specific. Although any provider can have problems!
