Taking Storm gearknob + handbrake lever on plane?

Hey guys! Got a question, my girlfriend who owns a Z4 bought from my Dutch friend [ref]barty[/ref] the gearknob and handbrake lever set from Storm Motorwerks. Which weigh nearly a kilogram..
Now next Friday I’m taking the plane to visit her and want to take these things, in my carry on. Airport says no on website to “blunt hitting objects”…

What do you think? Would it be okay to take them. I don’t have the original box with it.

I had an Allen key set removed and confiscated a few years ago, despite it being in a pack with a bike helmet, pads, gloves and a mini pump, which was deemed ok. I think it depends on who is searching the bag and their mood on the day.
