why?

I bought a roadster for the pure enjoyment of rolling out through the deserted countryside on a Sunday morning.
I wanted a good handling car that was comfortable, reliable, safe, and dependable. I wanted car that could easily manage anything I would ask of it.
I did want a convertible. I did not want a leaky unsecure rag top. I wanted a fair amount of power and a 6 spd manual. The E89 checked all my boxes. It was an easy choice

E89 is already far from the E85 is another price and there are structurally differences! And what do you dislike about the soft fabric roof at BMW?

I'm not a fan of soft tops. I like the retractable roofs better.
Some people do like them. I get the feeling there is a huge support for the older E85-86.
