I probably wouldn't wear it either, my knock around watch is a £9.99 Timex, I'm always worried damaging expensive watches, I love this Tag though :roll:

Wow very nice too. Don't like a leather bracelet though for practicalitys sake that is.

That sold for a good price!!! ... man wish I noticed this sooner would have been seriously interested , as it my "dream watch" :( with my 30th around the corner Mrs Paza might have invested
 
I have had a few tag's Targa floria and Carrera, my only issue with both was that the sapphire crystal domed watch faces are really easy to scratch :headbang: now have my second breitling and the quality if them IMHO is better. Both nice brands though.

have a Tag2000 for everyday & a Breitling Aerospace for weekend , the quality is noticeably different but then so was the price 8)
Which Breitling model have you ?
 
My first was a b2 professional my current one is a super ocean chrono. B2 had blue face and current watch has ivory with blue chrono dials. I love my watches. Iwc would be my dream watch. Now there are some expensive watches.
 
It went for 2K reserve in the end on 1 bid lol, there were 30 odd watchers so a little dissapointed there werent a few more bids, still I paid £1900 for it new 4 years back so not exactly out of pocket, I couldn't believe how much the Monaco Steve McQueen sells for new now....£4600 :o

It was a lovely watch but I do prefer the Carerras.

Well done on the sale. I'm also desperate for a Carerra. There's a nice one on Lancashire on gumtree at the moment - which if all the papers stamped by beaverbrook are straight would make it a decent buy.

Thanks Tom. had a look on Gumtree but couldn't see it.

The Monaco I sold was bought by a dealer, which I knew about but was in two minds to sell as they only buy to make a profit, anyways he didn't waste any time relisting it, if it sells he bags a nice 800 quid profit :cry:

Feel slightly kippered but I doubt I would have got £2800 selling privately as I was keeping any eye on them and they seemed to be going for £2300-500 so I thought 2K was a realistic start price :|

Ahh well will feel better when I get the Carerra :)

I guess the mark up he has put on should include some type of warranty if he is a dealer (you'd hope).

Try this link, no idea about the watch but I'd noticed it whist having my dreaming hat on. Seems a good price if it is all straight, but the price is right if it is priced to sell
