2009 Genuine Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph watch, Calibre 16 movement with box, papers and warranty card. UK supplied watch. The model is the CV2010-3.

For Sale Again - Thought I'd start a new thread as the old one had a lot of discussion in. REDUCED!

Excellent condition and working flawlessly, with all original box, papers and warranty card that's supplied with the watch from new. These now retail for £2,650, so at £1,600 it's a bargain and would make a wonderful Christmas present for a special someone. VERY reluctant sale, but we've found our dream home and need to raise as much money towards it as possible, so I'm selling my car and my watch!!

This is a UK supplied watch, UK papers, fantastic condition and with all original box and papers. Don't pay a few hundred pounds less for a watch with scratches, or is a grey import, or has missing paperwork, or box! It will be cheaper for a reason!

But it's not a Calibre 16 model :)
do they change them from year to year ?

probably a stupid question but I know nothing...

Not that I know, The Calibre 16 has the day and date on the face and two further functions, the standard Carrera does not have these, that's why the Calibre 16 model is another £1k

I used to like TAG's but second hand they just lose a load of value. I've got a couple at home which are just not worth anything. In contrast I've got a Rolex Submariner that I bought 4 years ago that would sell now for more than I paid new.

Why are you saying that OP's watch is not a calibre 16? Calibre 16 is not a specific model type, it is the name of the movement used in that watch. Several Tags have this movement, including the Carrera, the Link and maybe others.
If I am not wrong, the model of your watch is "Carrera Calibre 16 Day-Date", whereas OP has a "Carrera Calibre 16".

OP, good luck with sale!

Thanks. I've listed in the title it has the Calibre 16 movement as that's how I understood it.

Anyway, it's sold now, paid for and gone. :(

In IMO the OP's watch is a standard Carrera model, if it was a "Calibre 16" it would say so on the face and have the other extra function of the Calibre 16, it does not.

Not worth a bun fight all the same

It's not really a matter of opinion, this is based on facts. :poke:
Calibre 16 is the movement, not the model. The extra features you are talking about are not a trait of "Calibre 16", but are specific for you version of the Carrera.
The Calibre 16 is a movement in other Tag Heuer models also (apart from the Carrera), and they do not either show weekdays for example.

But you are correct that the OPs watch is a "standard" Carrera, whereas yours is the Carrera Day-Date. Nothing to do with Calibre 16 though.
