Good question ginger tosser.
it's funny it's advertised as a full retrofit kit for a 2003. Only the stalk is needed lol.
 
Assume it includes the lower cowl as well. But even so.

For £45 I got the cruise, indicator, wiper stalks and a slip ring.
 
I would say its about right given the cost from BMW. I looked at retrofitting to my E88 and it was around £450 for the parts and then fitting and coding to the car. Was quoted between £600 at one garage and £1200 at another. Clearly a coding is required once fitted

No coding required, just the stalk for early cars and a loom (under 20 quid) for post October 2004 cars.

Under £100 easy.
 
232 quid :lol: got mine from bmminiparts for about 60 quid and cut the lower cowling myself. It's even marked up so you know exactly where to cut.
