Please can anyone tell me where the switch is to turn off the 'cloaking device'?

The last few days have been unbelievable. I wish I'd had a pound for the number of cars that have pulled out on me at junctions and roundabouts. Not to mention people that keep coming when there are parked cars on their side of the road.

Just glad I've a dash cam fitted. I'm sure the standard of driving was much better years ago

Rant over, feel better already :)

You're in the Lakes I'm assuming and its heaving....Probably lots of city dwellers on their summer holidays!

I'll claim 'edge of Lakes' :D, and I avoid it like the plague at this time of year
TBH it's been on the local roads around where I live, not in the touristy bits. But I take your point

I hear you Obewan, it’s the same here in the Peak District, day trippers and holiday makers that have forgotten the outside world exists from inside their me me me vehicles. I always let a couple of cars out in town or wherever, the theory being if everyone did the same the whole show keeps rolling. Trying to get out of the North end of our village is hopeless at the weekends, a constant line of ignorant slow moving muppets, tbh I give it 30secs odd then keep moving forward until I force a gap, it’s the only way to get out.

This weekend is Chatsworth country fair, 3 days of THE longest tailbacks, from Baslow right back halfway to Chesterfield, 5 miles of queues. You simply have to go other ways out to get anywhere.
