I really liked my 17" turbines and Falken 452's which transformed the car from a bouncy tram-lining bitch on the Bridgstone run flats, to a composed, comfortable and stable drive, so I was apprehensive about what to expect on 18" staggered 108's shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 A 2 XL (high load) tyres.

But having taken it out for a shake down I'm amazed that there is a negligible loss of comfort, still no tram-lining but a considerable improvement in turn in feel and a flatter 'stance' on the road, I can't quite explain but feels like the suspension is more in tune with the stiffer tyre sidewalls? I'm obviously very early in to scrubbing them in so can't comment on ultimate grip etc but so far I'm well impressed
I've not had a staggered set-up before and am trying to get my head around the effect on ultimate limits and oversteer/understeer? :?
..... and the look? Well I liked the sleek styling of the turbines but think the two-tone 108's (courtesy of Mr Wilks) give a different character to the car.
