Swindon Meet -> Castle Combe (Supercar Saturday) - 21st Oct

OK, meeting at the following:

Costa Coffee
Lydiard Fields
Great Western Way
Swindon
SN5 8UY

It's just off Junction 16 of the M4, has good parking, and is open early.


We're then off to Supercar Saturday (for the Stroke Association) at Castle Combe. Entry is £5 per person on the gate.

Meet at Costa at 7.30am, ready to leave at 8.20am.
 
Well, there's a few of us already... Could set a date now.

What's everyone's availability for the next few weekends? I'm flexible with the start time, so suggestions...
 
Just pick a date, propose a start venue and have some ideas of the structure of the day and people will just start signing up for it.

Suggestion:

Meet 8.30 for 9.30 start (somewhere with food, petrol and parking), etc. Easy to find and off a main road.
Drive to xx stop at yy photo shoot. Drive to zz for 12.30 ish lunch, etc. Return via ??
Start point 4pm, etc.

I could well be up for it but am travelling to Aus a lot so won't commit until a date is fixed.
 
Just a thought, but on the 22nd there is a Stroke Association day at Castle Combe, being arranged on PistonHeads. Would anyone fancy travelling down for that in a group?

I'll likely be going, so would be good to get a few of us together for it, since I've never met anyone from the forum! (Except Playalistic, of course)
 
Would love to...But, I can't do until after my exam on 7th November, and I think I'm on call the weekend of 12th / 13th too... :cry:
 
We're going to meet up and probably pop down to Supercar Saturday at Combe, if you want to come along to that. It's next weekend, the 22nd. (Weather permitting)
 
I too could be up for this, would be good to meet some fellow Z owners 8)

I don't log in to the forum everyday so if whoever is organising could whizz me a PM with firm arrangements that would be much appreciated. :thumbsup:
 
2dogs, do you want to meet us there, or will you come down to Swindon first? I was thinking we could have a good natter before we set off, since I'm new to all this.
