Sweeter drive after a service?

Had my car in for an oil service yesterday and thought it seemed a better drive afterward.
Could be a placebo effect I suppose or maybe it's a reaction to parting with £ 200 for it!

I wonder if I'm still bedding in at 10600 miles?

mines just had a service and i changed the plugs as well, it feels alittle smoother uptop probably plecebo for sure.

Can only make the car run better imo...Fresh parts! But yeh, alot of it is probably in your head! I can't even tell the difference between 95 and 98 RON in the Z4.

Really? Must be in my head as it felt "perkier" on 98 ron to the point that's all it gets now

Not if they bugger up the valve clearance checks (e.g. put the wrong shims in or forget to put one back).
