Sweet sweet Caramel

I wish the door card inserts were easier to split. I'd happily drive to their warehouse and swop mine for those (and pay good money for the privilege)!

Why not just swap the whole door card?!

surely its far cheaper to have your existing seats/card recolonized in the colour of your choice?!
these are stupid money for what you actually get, you would have to be nuts!

Because a brown and red interior would be pretty weird. :?

You've confused the life out of me.

What are you trying to put in your car? I thought you wanted their door card inserts? so changing the whole door card would do the same, no?

Extended leather doors. You can change the cards but the inserts are pretty well bonded in, so you'd need a set that matched your existing interior or a lot of patience/time to switch the inserts over (neither of which I possess!).

You could get your door cards retrimmed, but the craftsmanship needs to be very good to get the seams perfectly aligned with the shape of the door. Other bits of the interior, e.g. the transmission tunnel, are easier to trim and can be done quite cheaply without looking like a bodge job.

I had mine changed by an upholsterer in Barnsley, they used a special tool to melt the the bonding, they only charged me £20. you could post your doorcards to them :)

Ooh interesting, cheers. I actually think it might be worth it. The door plastic is horrible.
