swapping from manual to heated electric seats - advice needed

I am looking at switching from manual seats to electric/heated seats ... can I ask if the underseat wiring is already built into the car (its a 53 plate) and its just a matter of switching the seats over?

I would also have to install a new lower button panel with the staged heating switches so same question: is the wiring already incorporated within the car?

I am hoping its a case of plug and go.

Any info much appreciated!

My understanding it that the pre-facelift cars (prior to 2006) come with the heated/electric seat loom pre-installed, so it should be a case of plug and play for your Zed. (Mine is a post-facelift 2008 and it was a right pita to fit heated seats  )

There is a op called Zoomer who fitted heated seats to his 2003 Z4.He posted in November saying the wiring was in place.Maybe worth giving him a pm

This.

But probably you don't have the controlsmfitted in the lower centre console.. that's all about order, plug & play.

FYI: i just replaced my manual heated standard seats for a set of sport seats with memory, all works well from the first moment
