Swap?? iphone 4.S 32gb for Note 2??

Technically not true, as the screens bigger. And they are only 720p not 1080p

iPhone 5 has 326 ppi (pixels per inch)
Galaxy s3 has 306 ppi

So the iPhone has a sharper display, not that it's really noticeable to the eye.

People get hung up on "HD" when it doesnt always matter. It's the ppi that does. The "retina" name simply means the pixels cannot clearly be seen by the human eye. Not that they can on the S3 mind.

The iPhone5 looks a bit cheap and nasty to me. I had a go with a friends phone. Doesn't look very durable at all. Personally I think the 4/4s is a much nicer design with a classier feel/materials. I won't be upgrading to the 5.

I thought that at first too, but i have a bumper around it, as i did on my 4, and i love how light it is. Also the extra screen does make a big difference in emails and my calendar, without being ott for like the S3.

I really dont like the headphone jack at the bottom though, makes it awkward to use when walking with them plugged in, and fiddly if the lighting cable is plugged in next to it.

I've also had nearly every iphone and now have the 5 and although I like it and it is the best they've made so far imho I totally agree Apple have dropped the ball.

They made their mark because it was innovative but (a bit like PC Vs MAC) if they don't start developing as quick as the Android phones long term I'll have to consider the move as they'll fall further and further behind.

I have nearly 200 apps though so that is the main reason for me holding out and iOS does just work where as I find android a much clunkier OS.

Still I have 16 months more to go now before I change hopefully they will start innovating again!
