good photos, looks grim! beachy head was interesting when I drove up there when i stayed in sussex for new year..... one of the greasiest roads I can remember.... :driving:

We were quite lucky. I was the only one that knew the route as the ?Tom?toms just wanted to turn around as the final destination was the start :headbang:

Anymore cars and we would have been in trouble though.
 
Yeah - we had loads on the Surrey / Hampshire run in 2012, split into two groups for ease, staggered the start, and both groups ended up going completely different ways :rofl:
 
We got separated just before breakfast but it was my own fault - that section of dual carriageway with the roundabouts there was a guy in a warm Citroen (not gannet) trying to have a nibble, I dropped a gear coming off one of the roundabouts and he was duly humiliated. Trouble was I was then in the outside lane and stuck behind a queue of traffic turning right. By the time we accepted that we were well and truly lost we were in the middle of nowhere without Internet connection to look up the cafe. Eventually got the address but by then we had driven well past in the wrong direction. Moral of this ramble? Have all the break points etc in your nav or written down before you set off :-(
