Can't believe amongst all this lively banter nobody has mentioned my total lack of directional skills."

Oh, so it was you :D :P

I was so busy trying to figure out why the NAV system was constantly trying to re route me (As Petach will confirm  ) that I just kept trying to keep up with the bright orange noisy thing in front :fuelfire:

Sorted that for you :D

Thanks again Steve, sorry we couldn't stick around for lunch, we made it back to Richmond with literally one minute to spare before my brother and sister turned up. Good drive out if a little congested at times but that's a fair price for a sociable start time...i must get a tomtom to prevent future route confusion too as I was pretty annoyed we lost everyone for the last part of the route.
Playa I'm sure your average speed up the hill behind the steam powered ford ka must have been EPIC ;)

If we have this many cars again I will recruit helpers, PVR was one such but as he said from his position was hard to correct the error. I really expected to see 13+ cars when I got out of mine at the big roundabout, was shocked as hell to find only 3 others.

You learn by your mistakes so they say :)

The words "helpers" and "PVR" should not be used in the same sentence !

Sounds/looks like this was a good day out, regardless of the weather. Had to pass after not getting home until 2am the night before, but will definitely try for next time. Good effort on the organising side of things srhutch!

On the roast beef run, I couldn't believe that we had 6 miles to go, turned off and ended up with 15 miles to go, then back down to 8 miles, turn off, and then 12 miles to go. Lordy, I thought I would never get to eat the beef! I thought we would be stuck in a never never land of "6,15, 8, 12, 3, 20, 4, 15, nah, nah, naah nah nahhhhhhh" miles.

A motley crew...

A really good day out, would have been better in the sun, thanks from us both for organising it. We both do feel a bit guilty that we had the last two roast beef's when, as pointed out on 3 occations by the waitress :( , we had ordered last! For our part if we hadn't been buried in mud in the dry field we would have been first in the que :)

Looking forward to the next one.

Paul and Steph

Another reason why gannet went through a time warp, my daily commute for ten years lovely roads especially when you know them like the back of your hand

Thanks for letting me tag along - mindful I wasnt driving the most capable car of the day.

Good to meet decent folk, (thanks to pvr's kind invite to myself & 535dboy).

Paul & Steph - Happy to be relegated to Fish & Chips in light of my prior indication of possible parking opportunities - Sorry

Big thanks again to Steve.

Regards & all the best AW8 :)

Thanks for sharing :) - shame about the weather - and can we have the engine further up in the mix next time - much prefer the music the Zed makes to Bjork! :P :)

So chaps (mostly) when's the next run? Quite looking forward to it already. Anyone up for a test run one one Sunday this side of 2011? :D
