Sussex/Kent Meet 31 October

I think he is implying that the women get more desperate to get in his car when it is raining, anything is better then standing in the rain :D

Would be nice if we can find an open stretch for a bit of a drag race...ZM vs 35i maybe.....would be interesting

Any Other takers...

Sorry my email reminders werent coming through so missed the continuation of this thread.

I am coming as long as it is dry. My tyres are not wet friendly and even AW8 would get past me if it was raining !

I have the option of the TT (MK2 3.2 S-tronic) for a wet day but I'm not sure how welcome that would be  :poke:

Let's hope the Sussex/Kent constabulary don't read this forum.

I know for a fact, that they read the bikers forum that I used to be on.

Just seen this thread and having looked through it I am not sure what your final route plan is but avoid the A27 around Lewes as if is blocked almost solid owing to the road works.

Weren't the roadworks only supposed to be there for a couple of days to fit a gate into a central reservation?

MikeS - do you know how to reset the trip computer to zero - I just want to see how much I can get from a tank - right now anything between 200 and 250......

I went through the Lewes tunnel three times on Saturday around 11am and 3pm and 5pm each time without issue so I think we will be safe fingers crossed

I have sent you all a PM and will be offering a TomTom map next week for those who want it.

Gannet's comes with the option of a waterproof housing and ace's offers the most direct route so he can keep up. :D
