Sussex/Kent Meet 29th Novermber 2009

I see. Hope they sort it for you. I was offered that when I bought the Audi but figured too many catches in the one I was offered. Just put F1s on it this weekend. Went for the wheel insurance tho, £150 for 3 years, 10 claims max. Must put in a claim for some lol.

Such as - drove through 4 nails when I had 1.6 MM left on all tyres? :D

I really wish I could have made this, but my lad plays footie on Sundays , with a 2pm kick off :( and this Sunday I do have to play a gig as well.

Hope you all have a good time and dont forget to post some pics,

And fingers crossed for the weather.

It was suggested to do this when I bought the car, but this one is fully above board with 6-7mm on it.

Right, this weather is beyond a joke now. As the organiser, srhutch, can you do something about it?

Really sorry guys, can't make this now. I have zero front brakes after Brands today and don't want to spend £300 for a set as the car will now be off road over the winter.

srhutch - was really looking forward to this, maybe next year.

Have fun and let us know how the day goes - will be praying for good weather on all your behalf :) ..

Looks like there is going to be a bit of rain - oh well, will just have to hit the louder pedal a bit more if the top is down to avoid the rain :)

Here's the forecast for Sunday http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/30?&search=eastbourne&itemsPerPage=10&region=uk worth noting the wind speed

Doesn't look good. Do we carry on regardless? Put it back to another date? Or decide at a point over the weekend or on the day?

Indeed. Limits the opportunity for outdoor chatting, comparing, and tyre kicking though. Although we'll have our anoraks, of course :) Would be a shame if people, perhaps reasonably, decide on the day it's too bad, and only a few do.

Typically, today and tomorrow are clear and sunny ...

I would never let an organiser down on the day though, no matter what the weather. That is just not on.

took us long enough to get this date sorted out - lets not postpone for a bit of rain...

Id be into next year now before I can make another date :(

Just like to say a big thank you to srhutch for organising this and the route

even if there was a bit of flooding to contend with (not to mention getting lost  )

thanks again and the pub was great 8)

Good to put some faces to names

Yes, big thanks, a really good route (where I stuck to it  ) taking in some fantastic scenery, albeit some a bit wet  Well done mate. Good to meet a few people too and fine pub.

Worth doing again with added sunshine next year perhaps.

like to add my thanks to steve for organising the day, good food, good company and a good drive despite the weather, 9 cars not a bad turnout, look forward to doing it again next year.

Ha! Sounds interesting! Good effort though given the conditions... certainly added a little something extra last weekend.

Hopefully I'll make the next one :driving:

Yea, same from me - great day out and amazing route - Steve certainly knows the road!!
Its good to meet people that actually drive their cars, albeit safely, properly :poke:
Some of those roads will be amazing in the dry - but even in the dry they were good. The zed behaved itself aswell!!

Some nice cars - even the M3 was OK :fuelfire: -
Loved the tunnel :)

Thanks for organising Steve!

p.s get them pics up!!!
