Just a quick question, Are there any differences in suspension between a si coupe and prefacelift 3.0i with msport suspension. i.e. will springs and monotubes taken off a coupe fit my prefacelift? 8)

Different yes, fit yes. I believe the dampers are the same but the rear springs are slightly harder. Given there's about 10kg difference between roadster and coupe then a different spring rate will be just fine. The coupe was engineered to be a sportier drive and stiffer rears would give less understeer but there's little in it.

cool thanks, i am getting a set of eibach pro springs and blistein mono tube shocks for the rear all off a coupe. Am i right in expecting it to lower by 20mm and give a better ride and improve handling a little?

Lower yes, better ride I wouldn't say so and not better handling if you're just changing the rear. You'll have more understeer from a rearward weight bias, more oversteer from stiffer suspension and mismatched roll rates front to rear causing all sorts of corkscrewing.

The springs will cause just as many problems, if not more, than the dampers as they dictate the ride height as well as part of the dynamic characteristics.
