Hi , I have had my Z4 Coupe for over two years now . Well I don;t know if its because I am getting older but the suspension coupled together with poor road surfaces seems to be getting harder and certainly more uncomfortable. The car has M Sport suspension and Bridgestone runflats and it seems to tramline more now. There is plenty of tread left on tyres I think they are original , car has covered 24k miles. Do you think getting rid of the runflats would improve things or is it just the nature of the car. I realise with the current suspension set up you will never get a really comfortable ride. Non runflats will make a significant difference, especially from OEM tyres. To be fair, some newer runflats aren't too bad. No matter what though, on rough roads you're going to get hammered some.

Going to non-runflats will be a major improvement in and of itself. For conventional tires there are some brands with softer (more complient) sidewalls then others. Hankook V12 will give you a soft and smooth ride at the expense of some high performance handling. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports give a ride which is firmer and give nothing up in handling. How do you drive? What do you want from your tire? What do you want to spend? There is a full spectrum of tires to choose from, what are your priorities?
