My indie has quoted to replace all springs with Eibachs. He has also included in quote to replace 2 shock mounts on the front. BMW main dealer didn't mention shockmounts when they quoted to replace just rear springs (or if they did it wasn't clear in their quote. Indie hasn't seen underneath the car.
Would one ordinarily expect to replace shockmounts when changing springs. Is it advisable to do so and should they be done both front and rear? They don't appear to be mega bucks but I don't want to be paying for them if they are not essential.
