Suspension- views please

Afternoon

Had a knocking from NSF that I've been trying to diagnose, thought initially it was trim knocking etc...

Doing the 'push down' test on the cars I now think, from the noise, its NSF suspension. Heck of a knock.

See videos for a view- ignore the squeaking!

Is that top mounts, shocks or something else? Have checked the springs and cant see any immediate cracks or breaks?

You're right, hell of a knock!

Sounds to me like either top mounts or ball joints (control arm, drop link or track rod). They seem like the only things that could make such a consistent, clean knock sound.

Have you checked for play in ball joints with a breaker bar or similar?

Ball joints all ok and new

Popped the top mount cover off and there is a lovely split in the rubber

Nope, and I'd guess you'll be changing that now then.
Did you see my other post about Ebay recommendations. As you put me onto them for the rear kit I'd suggest maybe chatting to them for the front end too?

As it stands I’ve got no hope of getting to work started until a week on Saturday so I can play the long game- this time

The other thing I’ve noticed is the lack of stock on a load of lines
