Suspension/Spacer ?!?!

Hi

This has been done to death I know, but after contacting Demon Tweeks to order, I'm left feeling unsure :? I want install Eibach Pro Kit (Springs 30mm) and also spacers. I have standard 18" Ellipsoid alloys and wanted to space 12mm front and 15mm rear. Demon advised not to use spacers on the Zed. When I asked why he said that in his/their opinion they were not suitable for the car!!!

Any help and advise would be great!
 
I've ran a 12mm front to clear the coilover and no issues mate.

Clearly doesn't have a clue as it doesn't matter what car you run spacers on as long as they are good hub centric ones.

I used to run the eibach spacers that bolt to the hub then you bolt the wheel onto that but they were smaller wheels on a smaller car.

12mm and 15 is fine with longer bolts.

Don't worry and just do it.

My spacers are from co wheels.

As above, i have exactly this combo of eibachs and elipsoids and have the 15/20mm spacers

Aslong as the spacers are hubcentric and of decent quality, i bought the bimecc ones from ebay and have no complaints

IMO theyre a must to make the car sit properly, you can find some pics in my progress thread if your interested to see how it will look :)
