Suspension options

I'm thinking of a suspenion refresh. The obvious choice is to go all out and get some KWs or Bilsteins PSS's, however, the budget doesn't even stretch close to then at the moment. So my options are;

1. Buy Bilstein B6's all round. Circa £700

2. Buy BC coilovers. Circa £700 (read below)

I already have Eibachs so no worries on the springs. I'm leaning away from the BCs. They have a reasonable reputation on the Jap scene but I haven't read any good reviews of them on a Z4M.

Are there any other options that I am missing at a similar price point? Do Gaz make coilovers for the Z4M. I don't want to put cheap, crappy suspenion on the car considering I haven't scrimped on anything else - so I think the BC's are ruled out unless anyone can convince me they are any good.

The car is used predominatly on the road with the occasional trackday.

you haven't scrimped now.... definitely don't be putting the likes of GAZ / BC racing on, you really get what you pay for. If i was working to that budget it would be bilstein b12 ( no sure on the B code) and a decent spring designed for the car like the eibach.

Are the B12s not just the B6s and Eibach springs as a package? I already have Eibachs, so don't need to replace the springs. Are there any other shocks out there for the Z4M that are worth looking at? I can only seem to find Bilstein.

FWIW, there are a few owners running BC coilovers on their M3's over on M3 Cutters, but if your budget allows, KW's should be where you're looking at.

Yes I know KWs are what I should buy if budget allows. Unfortunately budget doesn't allow, as per stated in my original post. I'm looking for the best option at around £7-800.

For something like a z4m, I'd go with a brand that has proven itself in terms of both performance and durability.
I don't know how many miles your car has, but as some shocks are on their way out, that means wear is a significant issue. I don't know a lot of BC users that have done 50k+ miles but from the more known european brands (KW, H&R etc) there are lots of user experiences with higher mileage.
The 'simple' stock shocks are probably more expensive than a complete BC set.
I don't know how long you're expecting the shocks to last.

B12 is springs and B8s not B6s.
