I have B4's and Suplex springs on my Z4C. I'm very happy. They cope pretty well with poor surfaces and potholes. And I can also chuck it down the A68 at silly speeds :driving:

which suplex springs did you get though? looking through ebay I'm unsure which are actually meant to go

There are a lot of possible part numbers - roadster vs coupe, auto vs manual, m-sport or not etc. I phoned them on 01909 770 660 and got them to confirm the right part numbers. Very helpful people, unfortunately they don't sell direct to public.

I have a coupe and I spoke to them and I bought them myself last year. It's 6231 you need unless you have an M?

Really useful thread this folks

I was thinking of a B12 kit until now... I find the standard (none sport) setup to have: 1) springs too soft, 2) shocks too hard, 3)anti roll not quite there either.

Basically, it gets thrown around like I don't know what and you're often hanging on for dear life ha! Now, comparing it to a Boxster S it just doesn't feel anywhere near as composed...
I live in Derbyshire and we're nowhere near as good at making smooth roads as our German friends.

I'm not aiming for Porsche-like suspension, but I'm sure the zed chassis has more in it than our friends at BMW have given it from stock....

Eibach springs are harder than OEM.

Bad handling is often shagged dampers.

You can upgrade the anti-roll bars which has less detriment on ride quality. I had this for a while but found they are better matched to stiffer suspension in the B12 kit.
