Suspension bushes - typical life is?

Hi all,

My car is booked in for hunter alligment on Thursday following new springs. It's done 70k miles and is a 2006/7.5yrs old.

Question is this - is it inevitable that the suspension bushes will be shot by this age/mileage? I'm just trying to prepare in case I get that call from the garage telling me they've had it.

I've read the how to's here and some of the bushes seem quite straightforward to change out (if they are needed).

Cheers

100k in and all my bushes are fine.
ball joint pretty much died on the wishbone, but that's it (so far)

My springs were changed around the 76k mark and have just had front bushes and top strut mount at 76k but was highlighted by the mot so perhaps wait till then before changing?
