Suspension Bushes and Tracking

Where not as high tech as that up around these parts!
The garage owner carried out the alignment using laser equipment don't think it would be Hunter though. It's a small father/ son business.
He chatted for about 15 mins before hand asking how the car felt on the road what isues i felt it had and then I left it with them for about 4 hours. When I returned he ran through what he had checked what he had found and described what he had done with the set up and why. All very therapeutic, but no print out or data files sorry. This guy has 40+ years in the trade and car prep and explained the effect of adjustments and checks really well.
So alignment standard at back very small "toe in" angle at the front is the bottom line. Significant improvement.

You would be as well checking alignment after fitting lollipops that could throw things out again

Right, update to this!
I changed my rear springs and lollipop bushes on Monday. The massive reduction in flex has now exacerbated what it almost certainly imbalanced alloys and well worn tyres. It follows the road even more enthusiastically now!
I've got it booked in for new tyres, balancing and full geo set up at a proper motorsport preparation place. It isn't cheap but the guy sounds super switched on, and his main business is full race prep and tuning geometry and suspension for lotus track and race cars. So I'm hoping something'll rub of on the zed!
I'll update again on Saturday evening! Really hoping I'll find the toe to nowbe the cause oof my current woes as above!

I did the lollipops must with a mate and the use of a farm unit to stay dry. It's quite easy if you have the right tools, or a large selection of the wrong tools and a lot of swearing!
We ended up using one of those 3 armed bearing pullers, but being a farm it was way too big and was a real pain to use! Then we used a very large G clamp to press the new bushes back in. Including doing the rear springs and still stuff like working out the jacking points etc (sounds silly but it was the first time I'd worked on the car so these things take time to get right!) t took about 4 hours! I actually quite enjoyed the challenge in the end.
If you don't fancy doing them yourself, I had already lined up a local mechanic to me to do them for £60. I bought Meyle HD ones from eBay for I think about £56 from memory. I've used their products on previous cars and definitely rate them highly.
As regards the geo, I was going to Back On Track Motorsport (geddit?!) in Guildford
Let me know if you want a hand. I definitely don't pretend to be a mechanic (more of a pretengineer), but I feel eminently qualified to offer my opinion having watched at least 2 YouTube videos on how to do it

Tyres and proper alignment and the car feels totally different! Heaps better! I'm absolutely over the moon
The only thing still not perfect is that there's what appears to be an intermittent vibration at higher speeds. It's not a heavy vibration and may only be noticeable at higher speeds, but I think it may just be warped discs...
Anyway happy days, and saved a few pounds doing the work myself which gives me a great sense of satisfaction!
