Suspected front brake noise

Hi
I suspect that my front right brake is making an intermittent knocking / clonk noise when I brake.
I have noticed it a number of times but ithe noise is erratic. If I had to guess it sounds as if there is a delayed reaction to the piston action. I notice it only when the car is moving slowly.
I have had all the joints etc checked and nothing appears loose or has play.

Any ideas.
Thanks

Check the structural undertray. I had an odd occasional knock, one of the bolts was missing. If they are reused they may fall out and I am sure most garages don't replace them every time.

If it was a brake piston reacting slowly the steering would be telling you, pulling to one side when you braked?
