The Black Swan pub will be having their monthly classic car and bike meet that we often tag along to on Sunday so I thought I would mention it for anyone interested.

This is an outdoor venue so weather plays a big part, although the current forecast is looking good! The field may still be a bit soggy so turning up no later than 8am is probably the only way to avoid it. Otherwise arriving later may work as some cars have often left by 10 or so.

Full details are The Black Swan, Old Lane, Ockham, Surrey. KT11 1NG. Phone: 01932 862364. (Old Lane is a turning off the slip-road onto the Southbound A3 just after J10 of the M25). Catering starts at 08.30 for breakfast, bacon rolls, tea and coffee and entry is free.

I hope to be there although my car might still be wearing bugs from my Scottish trip!
 
I think I might be allowed out - missus is at work :)

See you Sunday. Will bring the code reader if anyone wants a quick scan? I also have about 20 sets of carb tube caps (used to do the exhaust golf tee mod, but properly) for anyone that’s might want to try it. Had to buy a big pack, but only needed 2:)

Will get there for 10.30 so fingers crossed coffee & bacon rolls still up for grabs!

Is 10.30 too late?

There should still be people there at 10.30, and will probably still be a queue for catering!

I bet it will still be cleaner than mine! And Rob will still show us both up if he is free!!
 
Happy to give you a quick diagnostic - the scanner is pretty cool & links back to the internet for explanations etc.

Car washed & looking pretty bug free :)
 
I’ll be there probably earlier than later … normal start is 8ish right?
 
8ish should get you on the hardstanding, although they don't start serving until 8.30.

When are you heading down?

I’ll prob get there for 10 and hope for the second rush. 8 is too early for me!
 
Anyone planning on bringing a device that can delete or disable Transport Mode by any chance?

Just stumbled across this meet and it's only 9miles away. Was going to go out for a drive right now around Surrey. In need of some A246 winding roads.

Could delay it 9hrs though...
 
It was a good morning. We had to operate a car out then car in when the field reached capacity via areas still boggy. All sorts attended so variety was guaranteed.
