Well next Sunday would have been the next Classic Car Meet at the Black Swan, but as TONYMOR has already said they have stopped running these for the foreseeable future.

So I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in turning up at our old venue, Newlands Corner, on the above date to get a drive out, breakfast and a chat about all things Z4, or just to put the world to rights!

Newlands Corner is in Drove Road, Guildford. GU4 8SE. Drove Road is a turning off Shere Road (the A25) between Guildford and Dorking.

To try to avoid a start in darkness, but hopefully also avoid too much traffic, I was thinking 08.30 would be a civilised time although earlier or later might still work if that suits others better.

The weather forecast looks good at present, but as it is an outdoor location it is very weather dependent.

Lastly because of the "Rule of 6" I probably ought to limit this to 5 others, but if people find themselves in the area at that time and wanting to get a coffee while in a Z4 that would just be coincidence surely? So long as they don't post on here!
 
That sounds an excellent idea for anyone enjoying an A O N B who happens to choose their Zed4 that day to park there for the view.

Was hoping to come along to this, but my car still isn't out of the bodyshop. Saw you all at the Black Swan meet last month, and was gutted as I'd just dropped the car off on the Friday! lol

Hopefully make it to the November one.
 
It was great to meet up with some fellow Z4 forum members at long last. A special thanks to Phil for organising 👍🏻

No other car clubs as such.
2 Caterhams, a TVR giffith 500, a Ferrari F8 along with a sprinkling of Alfas were spotted.
The bacon rolls were good 🥓
 
Yes, it was good to meet up with a couple of new faces and a couple I haven't seen for ages! :thumbsup: Especially as a couple had travelled a fair way to get there.

And I'm glad someone took photos because I didn't get round to it. :roll:

Just a shame the car park got so busy, but having a chunk of it taken over as a caravan site didn't exactly help!

I'll have a think about something for next month.
 
Didn't you say something like that about the last one? :lol:
