Surrey/Berks/Hants meet at Newlands Corner - May 2018

The next Newlands Corner meet will be due to be held on Sunday 13th May 2018 from 08.30AM. Sadly April was called off due to the weather). :(

(Sat Nav - Albury, Guildford, GU4 8SE)

But this happens to be the same day as Pistonheads are having a Sunday Service at Denbies in Dorking - and they have 500 places (I just got number 103)!

So I was thinking it might be good to have a Z4 meet at Newlands at 08.30 then go to Denbies, seeing as it's only a 20/30 minute drive away.

If anyone is interested in going on to Dorking get on the PH list ASAP to get a place - but don't forget the Z4forum meet at Newlands Corner first! A Z4 forum convoy arrival would look pretty good!
 
I was thinking of coming down from Norfolk to meet you all then spend the rest of the day with one of my lads in Guilford - how long did you intend to hang around at Newlands? - be a shame to rush down just in time to see you all pull away.
 
Good idea Iain but unless it was an earlier start at Newlands I’ll probably catch up with you at Denbies as that starts at 9 and I like to be there as the exotica arrives. Thanks for heads up

You will be better off coming to the AV8 breakfast this Sunday Harry. We are not put off by a bit of rain and the food is great :wink: .

Will have to miss Newlands I'm afraid.

Probably try and get to Denbies just after half eight. Should be a cracker of a morning. Possible 500 Motors turning up! :o

Keen but also signed up for PH Denbies. I'll likely do a drive before denbies so if anyone arrives at newlands super early... ;)
 
Or even meet to then head to denbies as a group? us trying to compete for attendence vs a 500man PH meet is gona be tough, :)

Its not going to be my first visit either - maybe next month if there will be more of you around and having just seen the forecast for Sunday I don't fancy doing the trip from Norfolk underwater - sort of takes the fun out of it :x
 
It does look bleak - if it does end up raining when i wake up i probably wont take my weekend toy, genuinely i cant be bothered to wash it again to put it back in the garage :p

Great - please can you update the first post? Doesn't look like there are many takers for a general meet so let's use this thread to plan a 'convoy' leaving to Denbies leaving Newlands close after 8.30am.

My dad and I will meet you guys at Newlands tomorrow morning at 8.30 too then go to Denbies
