So given the relaxation of the rules does anyone fancy a drive out in their Z4?

A mate has told me Ockham Bites is still open so we could meet there at perhaps 8.30 then maybe drive to Newlands Corner (where the café isn't open) but the scenery is amazing!

All with social distancing obviously!

Let me know if anyone is interested.

ETA This will only really work if it isn't raining as there is no cover at either place that will allow for keeping 2 metres apart!

And I forgot to specify where they were. :roll:

Ockham Bites is in Old Lane, Ockham. KT11 1NA. Old Lane is a turning off the slip-road from the M25 J10 onto the Southbound A3.

Newlands Corner is in Drove Road, Guildford. GU4 8SE. Drove Road is a turning off Shere Road (the A25) between Guildford and Dorking.
 
I'm keen chaps :) I hope it's not going to be one of those car meets that sem to happen there now with people being idiots on the way out though? I've no time for that sort of thing - it's very narrow and just bloody dangerous!
 
So I've updated the header and the first post a bit because I think I got carried away with the weather we were having and thought it was summer! Today has proved I shouldn't have taken that for granted.

And neither of these places is going to work very well if it is raining, so I'll keep checking the forecast in case we need a re-think.

Lastly I understand Ed's concern about "over-exuberance" but people on here seem to be a bit more sensible than that. I certainly won't be trying to shred my rear tyres!
 
Would love to join up with you guys as long as you’re ok with an F-Type tagging along.
Fully understand if you want to keep it Zeds only though. 👍

I’m sure that’ll be fine. My brother is tagging along in his C63s also

Well as you're a former Z4 owner I think we'd be fine with that - plus we'd get to look at an F-Type. :thumbsup:

Afternoon Z4 lovers
I am still keen for this run on Sunday and looking forward to the final details.

As much as I love my Z4 I am a big fan of the F-type.

I’ve also just chatted to a fellow Z4 owner around earlsfield traffic lights who I’ve advised on this board and the Sunday plans. Hopefully he joins the forum and the drive,…
