Surrey/Berks/Hants Meet - 14 April 2019

Just a quick heads up regarding the regular general car/bike meet at the Black Swan in Ockham that takes place each month as the next one will be on Sunday 14 April if anyone fancies an early drive out with their Z4.

Anyway full details are The Black Swan, Old Lane, Ockham, Surrey. KT11 1NG. Phone: 01932 862364. (Old Lane is a turning off the slip-road onto the Southbound A3 just after J10 of the M25).

They open at 08.30 for breakfast, bacon rolls, tea and coffee so any time after that will be fine.

If it's dry I plan to get there around 9, but I'll check the weather forecast nearer the time! Hopefully we can do better than the two Z4s we had last month.

I'm sorry that I've missed the last couple of these and I'm going to have to miss the one on the 14th also. Life seems to have become super-busy, especially when these meets happen!

Tis ok, the front bumper needed a respray anyway, so I have booked her in to get both bumpers done and a few other niggles polished out. So should be a happy resolution in a couple of weeks time.

Well there was a huge turn-out this morning - to the point the overflow field was in use. Which is where I ended up - I'm not great at early now I've stopped working! :roll:

But it did mean the catering queue was very long.

Three other forum members were there, flimper, TONYMOR and mpm but I only got a photo of mpm's car.

A mate of mine turned up very late in his replica MK1 Escort Twin-Cam plus one of his mates in a red A70 Celica Supra Turbo and 2 more of his mates on FS1Es - well they are twins!

Anyway this being z4forum photos are essential so here they are!

Advance notice for the next one which will be on 12 May - maybe we should just head for the overflow field and find ourselves a corner there? It would be good to see a few more Z4s.
