surface corrosion on my Z

Hi

I've just noticed that I've got some surface corrosion forming on my front wing. On closer inspection it looks like it's due to a previous bump that has been repaired well a part from the fact it looks like they forgot to spray the inside of the wing so it's coming from there.
My question is should I fit a new wing, by new I mean a second hand one. Or should I get it repaired, a part from the small area of surface rust the wing is perfect. I am worried that if I get it repaired the rust will be back within 6/ 12 months.

I am very interested to hear peoples opinions/ experience on this subject as this is the first time I've had to deal with a rusty car, and I'm unsure of the best course of action as I really like the car and plan on keeping it for some time so im looking for a long term solution.

Cheers

There's no reason for rust to reappear if the work is done correctly, it helps to have a picture, but surface rust should be rubbed down and then treated with a rust neutralizer, I use Bilt Hamber products on my old triumph. As long as the rust is treated and the area has a good coat of paint, you should have no more issues.

Any pics ? The under bonnet part of the wings not painted is the factory BMW finish ,not great i admit  but you aren''t the first to think this , also the same on inner boot lid areas :?

I'm sorry to sound like a noob but how do you upload a picture ?

I've been and spoken to a body shop I have used before and he didn't want to spray the wing as he said it would probably come back. I'm going to try and speak to a few body shops this week as I want to get this rot done as soon as possible.

Countless wings on ebay around £150 then £150 / £200 to spray & fit = owner happiness

Theres a few posts on here with instructions , first off you need a site like photobucket to store / host your pics .
Then its a simple task of copy & paste your chosen pic into the small IMG tab above
