Gumtree is known for this sort of scam, anyone in their right mind would steer clear!

I don't get them, you need to be idiot to believe that you can get z4c for three grands. I would do it for 8-9k than it would look much more convincing.

whats the scam...? car doesnt exist and they want a down payment first which you pay and then fine out no car..
 
My father always used to say 'Just remember you can only con or scam a greedy or dishonest person'.

If you think you can get a Z4 for £3,700 you're not honest or greedy and will be conned.
 
even ebay has its scammers

This has been advertised 3 times over the past 2 weeks using different ebay ID's

(I have reported it to ebay)

Usually the car is located (supposedly) overseas and they need a deposit from you to help contribute towards the shipping. Of course, once the deposit it sent you never hear from them again.

My mate looked a similar add for a camper wagon a few months ago, the scam was the vehicle was in Ireland and they needed a deposit to bring it to the mainland. They would of course refund the money if you didn't want it :rofl: :rofl:

If it seems to good too be true it probably is!!!
