Whats up with that JB ? Few bolt on parts , reset airbag light & its good to go

Bit of spit and polish!!

As above as long as the chaises is not bent twisted. Its bolt on panels some new suspension arms and an alignment. It would be a lot of work and a big risk to buy. But it may look worse than it is.

well just shows you what I know about repairing cars ... not allot

look at the panel gaps . seat repairs / suspension damage and all the stress on the front ? but I suppose a person who is a expert professional in this area would see it differently I suppose .

For sure there is a lot of damage. You wouldn't repair the seats you can get them second hand for a few hundred. As a DIY repair using second hand bits it could be a good buy. I wouldn't as i dont have the right skills to be sure i wasn't buying a lemon. But if you worked in the industry i doubt you would be put off by this.

Bit like that M the other month ... trying to sell that for more now than an unmolested model.

This would be a nice little project. As matt says, as long as chassis is fine then a few parts and you're good to go.
Perhaps lump a V8 in as per the z4 gt3

That would be a great car to start that project with. O how i would love to have a go.

Anything is repairable.

Its just metal.

Im not saying its a good idea, but if you had skills, time and space and werent strapped for cash it can be done.
Just depends what you like doing.

Personally id never rebuild it to spec. Id rather build it to be a racecar that looks nicer than an e46.. As long as the chassis is sound.

Find one with the other side stoved-in, cut, shut and jobs a good-un, "Cat recorded light panel damage only" :drinkwine:

You would be surprised what can be done even with a badly damaged chassis if you have a hydraulic chassis straightener like this https://youtu.be/ddUjxMj6RCU

That's mental. it's one thing getting it back to the correct shape. It's another entirly to make it the same strenth as it was before its was crushed and pulled.

try and get that roof to fold & sit properly in the boot & on the roof with a proper seal... tricky dickie if you as me. I for 1 certainly wouldn't want it !

I agree. I wouldn't like to be in it if it crashed again. I wouldn't touch it with a big sh**ty stick but some numpty will !
